It is small, light weight and surprisingly powerful. The carpet head is turbo (air driven) rather than electric.

Great vacuum

Pros: Quiet, powerful, lightweight, exceptional clean, easy to switch to other attachments, pet booster attachment is great.
Cons: rubber bumper started to come off almost immediately. I believe I can gorilla glue it back. The canister has a tendency to roll over when turning. You have to be sure that you compensate for that.
This replaced my former Kenmore canister vacuum that died on me after 16 years. It was sudden and final. I had to wait for a month for a check before I could purchase the 21814 model. I was vacuuming with my older vacuum when it died and started spitting out what it was picking up. When my 21814 arrived I put it together and started vacuuming. It did an exceptional job and my carpet pile feels like it was just cleaned/washed professionally. This is the only vacuum cleaner that I will have, just upgrade when this one dies in 16 or more years.

When diseases and handicaps makes us a lot weaker, with loss less energy.
To have a vacuum,.it becomes a necessity.

Excellent vacuum for the price

The vacuum is quiet, works well to pull up dirt and debris from the carpet, and is easy to set up and use. I enjoy the ease of switching from carpet to hard floors without having to remove the whole stick for a second one. The vacuum is light and has a HEPA filter built in so the smell of the air coming out is wonderful.
