Experience with old Kenmore Cannister vacuum.

Yes. We had previous Kenmore Cannister Vacuum (Model 28014 /28015) and it has demonstrated reasonable durability given the plastic fittings which fractured out over the years. We are happy to report there have been no electrical/motor failures.

Kenmore 600 pop and go vacuum

600 series's is an excellent canister vacuum. We now have 3 of them. We’ve had Kenmore canister vacuums for over 40 years. What more could you want from a vacuum. They do it all very well.

Small but mighty!

I was without a vacuum for many months and my dog sheds a ton, but this little powerhouse had no issue catching me up! The carpet attachment helped with the dog hair on the couch, although it is tricky with high pile carpet. I’m surprised by how packed the filter can get before a noticeable drop in suction. On top of its functionality, it looks like a little spaceship and is easy to stow in my closet.

Less capable that 24-year old Sears Kenmore Progressive

I DO NOT recommend this model. Even if it hadn't failed in less than one hour of usage, virtually every new feature sacrificed useful functionality that much older Sears-Kenmore models had. This is a huge disappointment given that this was the top-rated Kenmore model in Consumer Reports.
