Working as advertised, safer already. The 10-year battery saves money and increases safety - no forgotten battery changes. All six units preconfigured to work together - nice touch.

Good & Bad that they are inter connected. If one fails they all go off and by then you don’t know which one failed and you have to replace them all.
But, if there is a fire it’s good that the whole house is alerted…

Everything was fine and worked / connected easily. The only issue I had was that I had 3 old hard wired detectors to replace and the mounting holes to your new sensors didn’t line up with the holes in the existing electrical boxes. Had to get a little creative to mount those.

Overall super happy with these - easy to install / setup / test!

Overall super happy with these - easy to install / setup / test. Integrated 10 year batter is GENIUS! Would be nice if the plate for attaching to the ceiling could anchor straight to an electrical box (since I had existing ones and needed to cover them with something), but still 5 stars.
