The overall idea of this is great, and it was fairly easy to build. However, I was disappointed in how the light-up portion worked. I feel like most builders would expect a jack o'lantern light to stay on. Here, you need to push the button to light up the face, and the light goes off immediately after you let go. Cute, but limited enjoyment factor.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I had such a fun time building the LEGO Halloween Pumpkin! The build took less than an hour and was easy & enjoyable. I didn't even know it lit up when I bought it! The finished pumpkin is super cute and makes a great Halloween decoration. It’s a perfect little seasonal build.

My first light brick set, easy and fun build, on sale while I was picking bricks for my AT-AT build so convenient to purchase. Goes great with my other Halloween decor.

This is another one of those adorable builds. So easy and it adds to my Halloween collection I set out every year. I didn’t realize this pumpkin included a cell battery so the inside of the pumpkin does light up. The light doesn’t stay on unless you keep the lid pressed down. But in the moment, the light is a very nicely added feature.
