The Samsung Q Series Soundbar HW-Q990H is a game-changer! 🔥 The sound is incredibly powerful, clear, and immersive, with deep bass and crisp dialogue that makes movies, shows, and music feel like a true theater experience. The surround sound creates an amazing sense of depth, and the Atmos experience is especially impressive.
Setup was straightforward, as was placement .the soundbar looks sleek, and the overall performance far exceeded my expectations.no speaker calibration needed, it's already synchronized from box .If you want premium, room-filling sound without having to build a complicated home theater system, this is an excellent choice.

In addition to adjusting the settings through the soundbar, you may want to try checking the sound format on your TV to ensure you are getting the best experience for a surround sound setup.
If your Digital Output Audio Format is set to PCM then you will likely notice decreased performance with surround sound audio systems. Dolby options are designed for surround systems, whereas PCM provides great sound quality for stereo speakers.
On a Samsung TV this setting can be found at Home > Settings > Sound > Expert Settings. (It can also be found in the Quick Settings.)
Please also be sure you are using an HDMI cable for the connection between the TV and your HW-Q990H soundbar for the best audio experience and support for a wider range of surround sound formats. Additionally, you may want to update the firmware of the soundbar to the latest version featuring the latest features and improvements. You can update the firmware through the SmartThings app, or by using a USB device.

Great addition to my Samsung TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that the subwoofer and mini speakers are wireless. I really like the symphony feature, where I can use the speaker and the TV speakers at the same time as a single synchronization. I had Vizio speakers before and I had to bump up the volume to 50 to hear it ok, but with these speakers, I just need to go up 24 to get great clarity and sound. The placement in my room works well for these speakers, especially for gaming immersion. The calibration was simple, only took less than 10 minutes.
