Very nice for sauces like spaghetti. Start the pan on low heat and then only increase heat to medium high that way things won’t burn. Really like the pan.
Finally treated myself to an All Clad pan! Beautiful pan. Quality compared to other products is evident. Large enough to brown 4 large pork chops at once. Love it. Worth every penny!
This pan was recommended to me by a professional cook for home use, and I love it. As long as you heat the pan first and then add the oil, the food doesn’t stick.
Terrible to clean. Very expensive and satisfaction was not on radar of customer service. Won’t exchange for different product. Just instructions on how to clean.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello! We are very sorry to learn about your experience with your cookware! We do understand your concern. Please be advised when cooking with Stainless Steel some food remnants and stains may take more care to remove. After your cookware has cooled and is ready to clean, rinse off any excess food with warm water, soak your pan in warm, soapy water and use a sponge or soft cloth. Rinse your pan with warm water. For tough to clean spots or marks, like burnt fat, protein shadows, and charred food, clean with a nonabrasive, non-chlorine cleanser, like All-Clad Cookware Clean, Bar Keeper's Friend, or Bon Ami. Form a paste with the cookware cleanser and a small amount of water. Apply the paste onto the cookware and use a sponge or dishcloth to rub in a circular motion. Repeat this process as needed. These tips should help you easily clean your cookware. However, for more helpful tips, please visit our Care and Use page here: https://www.all-clad.com/care-use. As a retired couple, I LOVE this saute pan for making one-dish meals (such as goulash!) that last for 2 meals, as well as cooking up two meals' worth of chicken for us. I have quite a few pieces of D3 and have used All-Clad for about 40 years, and assure everyone that using lower heat is the secret to cooking everything, except boiling water for pasta. The older I get the more I appreciate that this product does not leach into our food! My All-Clad will be handed down one day!
