This sauté pan is ideal for a large number of recipes. The high straight sides allow sauté’ing evenly. The pan is very well made and designed.

Great replacement for my All-Clad 2 quart non-stick sauté pan. Love my All-Clad cookware. Love the way this pan cooks. Love the weight. This pan is the one I use almost daily. Very happy that my daughter got me this pan for Christmas.

Love this pan

I e had this pan for 20 years and while I don’t use it often (it’s huge!) when I do, it’s indispensable. It’s great for searing large roasts! The only downside is even though it’s far sturdier than anything else in this size, it does warp over time. It’s still ok on a gas cooktop but it’s insufferably too warped for use on a smooth cooktop. Also for some reason the handles on the new D3 have less rounded edges that dig into your hand more than the original 3-ply pans. I’m glad mine is from the 90’s but too bad the handles aren’t more ergonomic.

Easy to love

I use the saute pan primarily to combine ingredients to make a one pot meal. The user instructions have been very helpful, since I'm not what you call a cook.
I am amazed how easy it is to clean the pan, easier than my former no-stick frying pan.
So, I'm happy with my purchase and wondering why it took me so long to get this quality pan.

Solid! Heats well on medium heat. Produces a nice sear and fond for deglazing.

This pan is as great as any other All-Clad I own. That is to say, “Perfect”. The deep sides, even cooking temperature, and easy clean up can’t be beat. All-Clad may be a little pricey, but you get what you pay for squared.
