It was a Christmas gift! So far readings are good! The sizing was a little challenging. I got the sizing kit and size 8 was ok but if my hands swell at all I can’t get it off! Size 9 is a bit loose, it doesn’t fall off but it turns sometimes, especially when my hands are cold. Wearing it on my index finger feels a little strange as I have never worn a ring there! Was impressed with how it tracked my sleep and will be curious to see what readings show when I have insomnia. I gave it 4 stars because of the difficulty sizing!

12-18 month battery

Be aware that the non replaceable battery will last absolute max of 18 months if you follow the recommended charging rules and around 12 months if you don't. The ring has a lot of great features but doesn't last long for the price.

I was so excited purchasing the ring. After wearing and trying it out for almost two weeks, I was not happy with it. I wore it mostly on my middle finger. For me, it was bothering my finger on both sides. It was actually uncomfortable and hurting the fingers when the fingers were trying to touch each other. Due to the finger knuckle, I can't get a smaller size. Therefore, I find the ring move around off center quite a bit. I had to remove the Oura because I can't grip on barbell and free weights properly. It not like a regular ring. I had compared the app with the Whoop band. I find the Whoop app to be more user friendly and the data it provided. As much I like the ring idea, I will be returning it for a refund. I had given it a chance. I can't justify keeping it based on my experience and opinion.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This ring works regardless of membership. I bought it because I have irregular sleep patterns. With it, I’ll be able to align my sleep schedule and meet my daily activity goals. I’ll also start my day feeling ready. It has a monthly membership that unlocks full app benefits, but if I don’t want to see those insights, I won’t pay for that month. I might miss out on some benefits, but I’ll save money. But if want ill pay for that month again to get more details and i will repeat the pattern. Overall, it’s a great purchase. The ring has two metal sides that are very comfortable to wear, just like a wedding band. It’s a bit chunky compared to Ringconn2, but I had to return it because the other one looked so cheap in terms of app features or ring internals.

I love the idea of a ring rather than a watch so that was my initial attraction the Oura ring. It’s comfy. Is very quick to have full charge and certainly is very thorough in covering my sleep, heart rate and activity level. It does not appear to be very accurate when it comes to steps. Fitbit wasn’t either but this does not even count as many as Fitbit!

Great Oura analytics

Bought the silver oura ring on sale during Black Friday sale.
Works as intended, great battery life so far and the analytics are very good. One thing to note is that some metrics only become available after 1-2 weeks of wearing eg. HRV, stress levels etc.
I would recommend this to a friend!
