Like that I can use any coffee and don't have the waste with all the plastic kcups. Great for a coffee mug or travel mug size.

This is a great single-cup coffee maker without the expense or environmental impact of k-cups. The only thing that would make it better is if you had a choice between 8-14 oz

Hard to get spare parts

The machine works well. I love Hamilton Beach products in general, but get a spare part is very hard. I recently bought a brand new of these, but then lost the Removable Ground Catcher Coffeemakers, and now I have to get a whole coffee maker machine because making coffee without the catcher causes a mess in the kitchen and the coffee doesn't test great.

Okay build quality, the reservoir could have been better plastic, or at least glass with a handle, just something better. The metal spring in the reservoir, looks like it could rust at some point; that could have been better, if not, at least provide 1-2 replacements. No seal around the reservoir lid. Drip stray could have been a little deeper and possibly removable, for just incase.
Drip method is your standard kind, wish it were the multi drip (rain method).
The filter, though reusable, it looks to be a unique filter to this device type, so aftermarket might not be available. (Future proof? probably not)
Could have made this a standard type and used across other models, so to have replacements available in stores.
But a nice coffee maker all around, haven't used it yet, this just my out of the box review.
