I am just starting to use the OmniBook as a replacement/upgrade to a 5 year old HP Pavilion.
(The Pavilion is working again, even though I had to reinstall the W11 to fix a blue-screen-of-death during my migration process. The time & pain of recovering was offset from initializing the OmniBook simultaneously. Pavilion had been in-sleep mode when an unattended update left it in the BSOD while I was preparing to transfer files. I had just verified my M$ ID & pw before closing the Pavilion to go out for dinner).
So, in this light of the anxiety from this potential disaster, I am initially delighted with the new OmniBook. I was able to use W11 file & print to move the large files between the laptops. It seems to run cooler that the Pavilion so far, plus has four time the screen resolution than the old one.
My only gotcha is that HP moved the keyboard backlight control key F5 to a little more obscure fn-F10.
I am kind of biased to HP as I have been using their product for 40 years. Even though they are not perfect, HP products for me have been innovative & dependable, lasted well past their warranty, and have been worth the investment.
I am quite pleased with new OmniBook (so far)...

The Omnibook is awesome, speedy. The AI to help print not so much. It’s fun watching it wipe things off the screen, but it takes all but the title. Thankfully there is a button to print the original. I tried one email and one web page and then disabled it.

So far so good. It performs as expected and does everything I need it to. Nothing out of the ordinary for now. The build is of good quality and I do like that it feels heavy like it's build well.

The Omnibook 5 is a great laptop for a great price. The Core 5 processor is more than adequate for my use for all parish work, and it's great for broadcasting our daily and weekend Masses at the Church. It gives a lot of bang for the buck, as they say.
