I love this pan, I had a tall, thin spaghetti pot previously and couldn't use it anymore because I purchased a convection oven. I used this pan for pasta. The pasta was not crowded in the pan, the strainer made the draining of the water easy, clean up was a breeze. I can't wait to try steaming vegetables and crab legs in it.

Already have the 12 quart and was looking for a smaller size. This is a very versatile pot. Can use it with and without the strainer. Cooks evenly and fits in well with all my other amazing All Clad pot and pans.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The All-Clad MetalCrafters Simply Strain 8 qt is fabulous and all you could ask for in a pot. The stainless steel makes it very durable. It's versatility having a multiple insert. It is also easy ro clean,, just through it in your dish washer.
