I purchased the 10 inch D3 Stainless 3ply Fry Pan last week. I had no idea how much difference professional level cookware could make.
It heats up fast, cooks evenly and cleans up nicely.

The 10" version of the pan performs as well as my 12" version. Heats up quickly and is mostly non-stick. Love the even temperature and the lightness of the pan. Much better than the graphite pan I recently bought from All Clad, which underperforms in all categories except weight.

I have been cooking on cookware that was handed down to me and is almost 50 years old, Naturally I get hot spots in these pans. This pan heats so evenly cooking with it is a game changer and makes cooking easier. It’s stainless steel. It’s a pan. I cook food in it. I turn the burner on and it heats the pan. When the pan gets hot I put food in. The food cooks. It’s cool.

Thickness of D3 and D5

I love both D3 and D5. Literature says both are the same thickness, but I measured and the D5 is definitely thicker.
