I’ve owned several gas powered saws. This saw cuts better than most of them. It’s very quiet and easy to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This chainsaw is Great! I got so aggravated with my gas chainsaw failing to start!! No more mixing gas, no more cranking till your worn out. Just put the battery in and get to cutting!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first chainsaw. It was easy to assemble out of the box, with clear directions. A little bar oil and a tightening of the chain and I was ready to go. This chainsaw is quiet and easy to use. Took care of a downed plum tree with ease, handing the 12" diameter trunk pieces with no problems. I have several Greenworks tools, and they are all excellent.
Pros: Quiet, Durable, Effective, Powerful
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to use, glad there were videos showing me how to assemble it and how to safely use it. It is light weight and powerful. The battery lasts a long time and as I have a whole suite of 80V tools, all the batteries work which allows me to work as long as I like. It is also very easy to take apart to clean it properly.
Pros: Easy to Use, Effective, Powerful
I would recommend this to a friend!

Works great - Poor assembly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This saw works great, lots of power for an electric. I rate the operation 5 stars, but the assembly I give a 1. The upper handle was missing 2 screws that hold the right side to the unit. Also, the top green plastic housing was bowed up, causing a gap between it an the black housing. This was caused by the improper placement of the wires which run under the green housing. They were bunched together and not spread out so they would lay flat. I fixed these problems myself instead of going through the hassle of returning it.
Pros: Convenient, Easy to Use, Effective, Powerful
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hello Woodmiller. Thank you for your feedback. We are glad to hear the chainsaw is delivering the power and performance you expected, but we apologize for the assembly issues you encountered. What you described with the missing handle screws and the misaligned top housing is not typical. While we appreciate that you were able to make adjustments yourself, this is not the experience we want for our customers. If you believe the unit was not properly assembled, we recommend reaching out to Greenworks success team to report the issue. They can be reached either using the online chat function, on Greenworks Tools page, or by calling 1-888-909-6757.
Thank you again for bringing this to our attention, we appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to improve.
