Teachers have very little time to eat lunch and often have to stand on line for a turn to use a microwave. This food warmer solves that problem. I bought one to share at our gift luncheon and auction. The recipient was excited to get it and started using it the next day. I love mine.

I bought several for gifts in my office and we all love the concept of hearing lunch while we work. Personally, I think it runs a little too hot. Soup heats in about 30 minutes so the first time I used it, I actually had to unplug it and then re-heat closer to lunch time. The cord is cumbersome to keep out of the way while eating. The pot is hot so it's not like I can wrap the cord back up before I eat. A removeable or retractable would make it much easier. I regret not getting the model with the on/off switch because crawling under the desk to unplug is a nuisance so I purchased an extension cord. Just saying...think about your routine and work environment. On the surface it is a great concept, in reality not so much.
