I bought a few lunch crock pots for gifts. Mistake apparently as I've not used them myself, but I'm getting bugged for reviews like some YouTube channel.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my daughter because the gift shop she manages doesn’t have a microwave or a fridge and she has to bring her lunch because she’s usually the only one working and can’t run out for lunch. The first day she took this to work with a can of soup she texted me a picture and said this was the greatest gift ever! It’s nice to know that during the upcoming cold winter months she will have a nice hot lunch everyday!

These little crockpots are handy and cute, but you definitely get what you pay for. They feel a little like they are cheaply made, but very functional as appetizer warmers.

I got this as a gift for x-mas and have used it a few days to bring lunch to work and I love it!!! All my co-workers have commented on it. My food is perfectly warmed and not dried out when I sit down for lunch. I love that I only have to bring the insert and lid. I leave the carry case and lid at work, plug it in when I get to work and
food is ready a few hours later. Love this! So worth having.

I bought my daughter one about a year ago and she just loves it! This year I bought three, one for me, and two as gifts. I haven't used mine yet since we are on Christmas Break but I am looking forward to having hot lunches at work from now on. The two people who received them as gifts were thrilled with them.
