Great Gadget, Beward Insert lid leaks everytime

I purchased this warmer about a year ago and I love the convenience of the insert and not having to use microwaves, but it does have one major flaw -the lid to the insert leaks EVERYTIME and it stinks because I purchased two inserts. Wish crockpot would make a secure tight lid.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've bought 4 of these over the years. These are perfect for heating up lunches. Even better, I just realized how perfect these are for warming up sauces for sundaes. It took 2 jars (about 12 oz size) to fill up the warmer.
I love my Crock-Pot® Lunch Crock® Food Warmer, I have the larger size. I throw it in my cooler, keeping my base at the office. Another plus is not using the community microwaves :). I actually have two, so when I make a great meal, I will pack two in the fridge at home.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my first Lunch Crock Food Warmer when they first came out and loved it so much I bought 3 more as gifts! I'm an Intensive Care nurse and Critical Care Charge Nurse and to say my 12 hour shifts are hectic would be an understatement. I just plug this when I get to work and I know my lunch is ready when I have a chance to take a break. No more lines at the microwave or worrying that if I warm up my food it will be inedible by the time I get around to eating it. It's amazing that one of the questions on this site is "How long have you owned your Crock-Pot slow cooker?" Which one??? I have my mother's 5 quart slow cooker that we bought her for Christmas in 1972. I have 3 more in varying sizes in addition to my Lunch warmer. My daughter has multiple Crock-Pots. She put one of each size and availability on her wedding gift registry six years ago and received almost all of them. She takes after her mother.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this as a gift, I was curious if it would do what was advertised on the box. I plugged it up and it exceeded my expectations. I was able to warm my food up quickly, and safely, right on my desk. other co-workers saw my "lunch time crock-pot" and were asking, 'where did you get that from?". I ordered 3 more as birthday gifts and plan to order 3 more for future Christmas gifts, birthday, etc. I really like my Crock-Pot! I have told others about this product, and they have ordered it also.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect for anyone who doesn't have an accessible microwave, always on the go, or have shorter lunch breaks
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for myself and two other teachers at our elementary school. I had bought a total of 6 on this purchase. Three were for me and the other three for two teachers. While working at a school sometimes we are doing good by just getting to eat some days. We do not have time to heat our food and we end up eating a cold lunch. So, we sometimes we just bring our lunch instead. I love the fact I can plug my lunch in when I get to school and grab it on way out the door going to lunch. It's always been the perfect temperature. I don't have to worry about if any of my Pre- K class students will get burned by my food container. This is the best invention.
