Delivered quickly, easy set up and the best multi-function printer that I have owned. Did alot of research prior to make the purchase and it has paid off. Great machine and HP is very easy to deal with.

Some difficulty when installing the drivers. Started with the latest version from the HP website which failed to complete 3 times. Next used the supplied CD and this also failed to complete. It was finally completed by telling the program to install each function separately. All works fine now.................

Better than before...

This unit replaced a M1522nf all-in-one that failed after 4 years. That machine functioned reliably until it had a hardware failure. I like the new one even better, it came with an EMF or RFI ring for the power cord...plus I am being promised 30% further coverage for the new laser toner.
However, I prefer a better product experience to a better shopping experience, and a printer to last for 7 or 8 years instead of only 4. Also prefer a wireless connection option.
It would be nice if the contrast for page face-up and face-down icons were emphasized. These images are translucent grey over a black housing and barely possible to read. This forces some trial and error.

Works extremely well in my Home Network

I installed the HP Laserjet 1536dnf MFP two weeks ago in a small home network, wired and wireless.
The included software installed in Windows 7 and Windows 7's Virtual XP without a hitch.
The Fax-from-PC software - HP Send Fax - is an excellent app, designed to work exclusively with the HP MFP.
HP Scan is fast and accurate with lots of options (the feeder works well also)-I like to scan to file and fax from there with Fax-from-PC software: If the fax fails, it's easy to restart the PC Fax app and not have to re-scan the document, especially if it's lengthy.
The HP ToolboxFX that is installed with the software is also excellent. It tracks virtually everything your printer does:, scans, prints, toner, all in great detail (I am a copier tech and I like to be able to keep track of these items!)
All-in-all, so far is an excellent unit, an will likely serve my needs quite well.

I can print and scan from my Mac and PC! I love the EPrint too as I often want to print from an iPad. I like the 2 sided printing very much too. The machine is a little loud and clunky sounding which is why it's not a perfect score.

I've purchased 4 of these printers so far for business office staff users. I like it's multi-function capabilities and it comes with the necessary protocols that interface with our campus business applications.

I received this printer as an even exchnage within a week after I got the first one which was printing copies a little bit tilted. After spending some time with tech support they recommended an exchange. I did that and it went very well. No problems with exchange process or replacment "Brand New" printer.
