I replaced an older 600 series switch with the GS308. Performance seems comparable, but the power supply is much smaller and runs much cooler The switch definitely runs cool, even in a closed cabinet. My installation would have been a little cleaner if the prongs on the power supply were 90 degrees rotated, but that's a minor issue. Very satisfied.

Easy switch install

Replaced an old 5 port switch with a new 8 port. Plug anmd play, couldn't be easier. There's no way to go wrong as it doesn't matter which cable goes into which port. Plug it in and walk away!

8 Port NetGear Switch

This is a well-built device and very easy to set up and use. I have had it for about a month and have not had any issues. I do not see any slowdowns with devices connect through the switch than through the Router or Modem directly.
