Excellent Fast Ethernet Switch
on January 9, 2020

I purchased this witch to use in a church distribution system that feeds a number of wired stations and several wireless access points. Installation in place of an existing slower switch was quick and easy. The new switch consumes less power, runs cooler and the users are satisfied with the better performance of the network. You can't beat it at the price for an unmanaged switch.

I recently bought both the GS305 and GS308 to up latency performance in my home network (half-duplex WiFi to full-duplex wired). Both work as expected and performance is better.

Nice switch for nice use

I have used Netgear equipment for as long as I can remember, like from the early 80s and they never failed me. Small and large, managed and not all easy to use easy to install and they just work. Never had one failed on me and never changed one because of age, only because of needs. You want a workhorse that will work until you don't, get a Netgear! Honest, it will outlive you.
