Switch extending available ports

The switch arrived and was easy to install and worked just fine. One non-performance issue is that the lights on the port and their access are on one side and the power and control in the other side. I have standing vertically so I have access to the lights but not the controls. Not a big issue.

Perfect solution for video streamers

Solved problem of too many CAT-6 cables and only 4 ports on my cable modem. Much less congested in and around my entertainment center now. Great price and simple to install.

Excellent for home office

For security reasons I am not allowed to use wireless equipment at my home office. When I brought in a second computer to do some additional work, I discovered that my router didn't have enough ports, so I ordered the Netgear 8-port Gigabit Ethernet Unmanaged Switch (GS308v3). It's compact, inexpensive, easy to install, easy to set up and very powerful. I gives me the ability to wire all the devices I need to have on the same network, and the peace of mind to know it's going to be there for me.
