Great upgrade switch

Up graded a 5 port to a 8 port netgear switch. The extra ports help me connect camera base and cellphone Booster system. Easy to hook up and all systems working great.

Reliable. Works as expected. The only downside was the startup instructions, which insisted that you download their Insight app to manage their equipment. Why would you ask to download an app to manage equipment when it doesn't work on it? The answer is probably is it is a) easier than figuring out which equipment can use it, b) to improve download numbers or c) data miner. I'd like to believe that is the first two, but this is 2020 so the last one would definitely be on point.

8 port unmanaged switch addition

Recently upgraded my home wireless internet router and immediately saw that one port was not going to cut it. Picked up this Netgear 8 port switch, plugged it in, worked flawlessly and the first time with zero issues. Have all my wired devices back online with open ports to spare for expansion.
