The GS308v3 has met all expectations. Only 1 port is not in use at this time and yet there is no negative transmission impact on any connected items. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Solid, dependable switch

Netgear has always been a solid, dependable brand. I've used their stuff from home routers all the way up to business grade managed equipment. This switch is a good example. It has a nice, solid metal case and the performance has been as well as I expected for an unman aged switch.

Simple Perfection

With kids doing home school and me trying to work from home, we needed more than just wifi connections. Added an unmanaged 8 port switch into my home patch panel giving the kids network drops in their rooms for much fast and cleaner connections the reduced any congestion in our network. Simply had to plug in the network cables and power and BOOM speedy internet around the house.
