pretty good home theater set up

I set this home theater set up in my living room - overall super easy set up, and the bluetooth works seamlessly. It is an overall decent set for the price they sell it at - the quality is good so far.
The only reason I knocked it one star because to other theater systems i have owned, this one does not get very loud. I had it at full volume while connected to bluetooth and it still was not too loud. The max volume personally is not too quiet for me, but may not be what others are looking for!
Overall, for the price and quality compared to other systems I have tried, I think it is definitely worth it!

Overload packaging for a fair quality sound

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While this sound system does produce a decent sound quality the amount of packaging was absolute overkill for the cheap plastic that this product is made of. So many wires now clutter the back of my tv but it was relatively easy to set up and use. Multiple packs of wires also sent to figure out the best usage however they do not spread out super far since they all need to remain connected rather than connect via blue tooth. Fair product but definitely better sound systems out there.

Good budget system

Overall this system is good for what it is, and that is important while rating this product. There are some pros and cons that come along with this one. One of the biggest pros is the price point you can find online. It is very price friendly for a system that most people in the market can afford. The sound quality is definitely better than my TV, and the subwoofer adds a whole other element missing from a TV, bass. With pros come con, and there are a few here.
One drawback is although it is Bluetooth, the speakers are wired so it drastically reduces the amount of places you can put them. Also bluetooth related is everytime I turn my TV on I need to take the TV remote, and press okay when it asks to connect to the system. I'd think it should just autoconnected like many other Bluetooth devices.

Overall this is a budget friendly system for a smaller room, and if that's what you are looking for I would recommend it.

Just okay

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I set this sound system up on my gaming area. The first issue is that the instructions are terrible and make it hard to know exactly how to set this up. There are also SO many cords (see photo) and full disclosure there were even MORE cords shown but we couldn’t figure it out due to the poor instructions. The sound is just okay. You can’t really set the speakers around for a true surround sound feel, because they all have to plug into the larger speaker. Overall, this is decent quality but the functionality misses the mark.

Gaming at a whole new level!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The iLive 5.1 Home Theater System with Bluetooth is a really great quality sound system. The instructions were easy to follow and set up from maybe 10-15 minutes. I connected this to the TV on my gaming room and... Just wow! The sound dynamics is perfect. I blast it as loud as I can and become immersed. It has several speakers so you spread the sound throughout the WHOLE room abs the Bluetooth connectivity makes it a breeze. My wife has to pry me from my gaming room now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this set up since it has arrived and that’s been about a month now and I can say that my family and me absolutely love this for our TV. I would recommend if anyone is looking into a starter home entertainment sound system because this was easy to set up and easy to Bluetooth to anything like we Bluetooth it to our fire stick.

So have room for set up and quality sound arrangement ! placement is everything! Full kit includes everything needed for easy hookup, directions included! powerful bass subwoofer! lets you listen to music or movies like your actually there. 4 box speakers,to place thru out room so easy to use. Make the neighbors bounce! the kids love it quality speakers!

Must Use with older TVs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We did not realize that this device can only be plugged into RCA ports initially. Our bigger TV is new and does not have RCA ports. We tried to use a converter but the sound would not work. We ended up finding a tv to use this with, and once we got it hooked up, it sounds great! Just ensure before purchasing that you have the right hook ups on the back of your TV. Otherwise, the sound was great and it was easy to install once we found a TV to plug into.
I would recommend this to a friend!
