GPS fails

I have had 3 of these cameras, all were replaced because of failed GPS. These cameras do not work well in high heat environments. It also is very flow connecting to drive app

Bought this and as it was sitting on the shelf for 2 years, the battery would not charge and the camera would get quite hot. Returned it and got another with the same battery problem. This happened a total of 3 times. A real shame since the camera viewing angle is quite good. Gave up on the Garmin 57 and bought the Garmin 67. The stores need to check the date of manufacture and return those that are 2 years old as the batteries will be toast.

Overheats within first week in winter

I previously have a Garmin Dash Cam 55 which was dying with a faulty sensor, so I bought this newer model 57. It's installed center of the dash in mild March temperatures. The device overheated after a week and I wasn't able to turn it on until it cooled down several hours later. It's not even summer yet and it's already overheating from mild sun and winter temperature, so I don't want to risk not having the camera suddenly in the summer. I have since returned the purchase and will be looking for another brand instead.

A lots of software problem and the quality of the footage it's not good for a very expensive camera.

Garmin dash cam 57

I bought this dash cam to replace my old Garmin dash cam 45 that sadly had to be put to rest. I’ve had the new one for about a week, I like the new app it uses a lot more than the VIRB one. It’s easy to use like my first one. I stuck with garmin since I like their products.
But any dash cam is good to have, my old dash cam saved me a lot of headache when someone lost control in super crappy snowy/freezing rain weather. If I didn’t have footage of what happened I would have automatically been at fault till they could prove I wasn’t.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is the best product I've ever seen.

After I picked it up at Best Buy today, it was easy to install. Its wifi connection is automatically realized through the APP, so there is no interference from Carplay, the photography effect is very good, and the sound recording is very clear.
The biggest highlight is the powerful function of the App, it can set everything. And when your car is wifi enabled, it will help you upload the recorded video to your APP, which you can watch at home.
When you get to your home, you can connect it to your wifi and you can watch live footage.
I highly recommend this Dash CAM, you deserve it.

OK Garmin - Great product

We bought 2 of the Garmin 57 Dash Cams! We found them easy to install and pair to the Garmin Drive App…both Dash Cams are performing perfectly!! We would highly recommend the purchase of the product! Best Buy had them on sale and further reduced their sale price after our purchase. Best Buy price matched and we received a prompt credit…with no hassle….
