Easy to install

Easy to install, although I wish Garmin would come with a mirror mount instead of just suction for window. I did find one that works with it. With car safety features I’m limited to where I can mount it. Easy to figure out how to turn off or on features I don’t need…lane departure etc. I like that can save it take a pic, etc.

The camera delivers. It’s small, easy to mount and fairly easy to use. Garmin ought to partner with or buy one of the companies making adapters for powered rear view mirrors. It’s way easier than running a power cable around the windshield. The software is ok, but in typical Garmin fashion, has just enough quirks that you don’t want to have to make adjustments. Maybe I’ll get used to it.

Fantastic Little Device

I got this as a deterrent for door dingers and the bad drivers that tend to be around way more often recently. The features are extensive and very easy to operate from the app and also on the devices. That quality and the ability to automatically upload is also a super nice feature to have. Can highly recommend the device!

Overall, this dashcam does exactly what it's supposed to. It powers on and off intelligently with signaling from the vehicular power supply. It takes a memory card to allow significant storage. Detects motion, lane departure, quickly approaching objects, etc. I do wish the resolution was better so that license plate numbers could be easily gleaned from saved videos without ah I guess to be within 10-15 feet of the subject car. For the average person looking to protect themselves from fraudulent claims or other reckless drivers/pedestrians, this works great! I use this in a work vehicle that I don't own, but am allowed to drive for personal use.

Nice improvements over previous model, even though only an incremental update. The best thing about the cam is the size and the magnetic mounting. Makes it easy to switch between my vehicles and in one it fully fits behind the review mirror and i don't even see it while driving. Only reason for 4 stars of the quality could be a bit better. There is less jitter than the previous camera but could be less "frame-skippy" or grainy in low light. Great value for the price and size.

I opted for this camera because I didn't need the full 180 degree field of view. I really like the small size of the camera because it doesn't block your field of view should you mount it lower on the windshield. The menu is easy to navigate and the camera is very easy to setup. Picture quality is great and I would recommend this camera to anyone.
