Still figuring it out

Still figuring it out; has a lot of great features. Having a problem trying to figure out how to play the music I downloaded to the watch from my computer.

Great Upgrade

I’ve been using my Forerunner 245 Music for a few years and it has served me well - but the Forerunner 165 Music solves every issue I had with the 245 - specifically the screen being hard to read especially in direct sunlight. The larger, clearer, AMOLED touchscreen is amazing - I can read it easily even without any glasses. The battery life blows the 245 away as well. To be fair I didn’t notice the issues with my 245 until I started using the 165.

I am new to Garmin but had been curious about them and the additional features (eg Garmin Coach) as I’ve wanted to push myself further with running (I am an ex lifter whose new to running and unsure how to train “properly”). This watch is excellent and has more than I need - I was torn between this and the 265s, and I am so happy with my choice of the 165M. Best investment and loving it. Can’t imagine life and training without it.

I bought this watch for the battery life, the improvement of data in my training (in particular my running), but also appreciate the added training features for other activities. It’s a good looking watch as does what it says. I’d recommend to anyone.

Made the jump from my Apple watch and glad I did. Frustrating to get it up and running initially, (I am a bit technologically impaired), but finally watched a YouTube video by a third party and was able to put it all together. Love all the features, it's perfect for me.
