The steam station is SO MUCH BETTER than a conventional iron. I make lap quilts for hospice and church banners. This is a great tool that will flatten fabric and seams. Great time-saver!

The only negative so far with this iron is, it doesn’t have a constant steam option. You either have to pull the trigger underneath the handle or press the button on top to get a shot of stain for however, long you hold the buttons. The button underneath the handle is easily triggered by accident when moving the iron around and can cause Burns so it takes a lot of training to not accidentally hit that button when moving the iron around the cloth or ironed item and having your hand nearby straightening or smoothing wrinkles
