Sick of R*n* and their price increases for storage, I decided to do some research into alternatives that offer local storage. I couldn't be happier with the choice of AOSU. Very well made and very well packaged unit. I's more responsive than R*n*. I haven't had a single delayed notification, the battery life is much better and the picture is better. The only complaints I have versus R*nG are that you can't set notifications to be less frequent (ie, when my window cleaner attends, it sends me notifications every ten seconds while he moves around the detection zone), The field of view is not as wide as R*n* as it's a 4:3 image....but is entirely adequate. On the plus side, it has a voice changer which is helpful for lone women at home as the voice can be changed to male...sadly, this is currently only either an American voice or a gimmicky cartoon voice....maybe they could add UK English in a future update. There is also an alarm which you can enable to sound if someone removes the doorbell....and it IS loud! You do of course, need to remember to deactivate this feature while removing the unit for charging. This is the other downside versus R*n* as the unit has to be removed due to the battery being built in. Videos are great quality and I haven't had a single problem retreiving. Another great feature is that if you are on a well lit street or you have security lights, you can deactivate the infra red lights, further extending battery life and providing colour videos at night time. If AOSU takes note of current small issues and continues to imrove with firmware updates, I can see this doing R*n* some serious damage.

Very easy setup lovely crisp picture, app or king fine. Very please. No monthly cost, just binned my Ring doorbell.

Had a ring doorbell but after increased price for recording decided to change this as good but no charge for recording this is easy to connect to 2.4 and 5g very good value

My wife is finally happy. She felt a video doorbell was a necessity in these changing times. It took me errantly purchasing inferior products to land on your unit. It works perfectly, was a snap to install and marry to the house and she couldn't be happier. Thank you

The doorbell is considered great value for the dollar, but it lacks an adjustable mounting bracket and offers limited camera adjustments.
