Super efficient and sleek

I love my shark hair dryer! It is efficient and works better than my previous “traditional looking” hair dryer. I like the sleek design of the shark and the attachments for different styling options! Would definitely recommend to others if in need of a hair dryer!

Works so fast

I really like the shark flex style, the hair dryer is my favorite it dries my hair so fast and adds volume, I do also like the curlers, but I do find that they don’t hold in my hair very well. It’s still worth it for me for the hair dryer and the round brush is amazing. I also love that there is less heat damage with the shark.

Blowouts Best Friend

I really love this blow dryer. I love that you have different attachments for different hair needs. It’s very easy to clean as well when needed. It’s a very strong blow dryer but has different heat settings for hair health. My only complaint is the curling rods don’t tend to hold my curls, it gives me a nice blowout for a couple hours but then it falls :(

Too loud! Damaged my hearing

I bought the Flexstyler a number of years ago and have used it regularly to both set and dry my waves/curls. I also use all of the other styling tools for other looks. I realized right away that it was much louder than my previous dryer with a high pitched “whine” from the motor. I started wearing earplugs each time I used it. Cut to this week: I forgot to pack earplugs while traveling. After one time using the Flexstyle without ear protection, I have had ringing in my ears for three straight days.
When I get home, I am tossing this thing. A good hair day is not worth permanent hearing damage.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Shark FlexStyle is designed and tested to meet applicable safety and performance standards. However, if the unit develops a louder-than-normal sound or an unusual high-pitched noise, this can sometimes be caused by a buildup of dust or debris in the air intake filter. For consistent performance, we recommend regularly cleaning the filter. Before performing any maintenance, please ensure the FlexStyle is turned off and unplugged. Remove the filter cover from the bottom of the unit, gently clean the mesh filter using a dry cloth or clean toothbrush, remove any stubborn debris with an alcohol cleaning wipe, and then clean and reinstall the filter cover. Once reassembled, allow the unit to run for a minute or two and monitor whether the noise improves.
If you continue to experience unusual noise from the unit, we recommend trying the troubleshooting steps using the link below for "Unit is making loud/unusual noise". Following these steps should resolve the noise concerns. If the troubleshooting is unsuccessful, a webform will be generated; once submitted, our support team will review the information further and assist with the best resolution.

Great for all levels of hair people!

I’m obsessing over this. It has the option to curl, blow dry, flat blow dry, and a round brush option. Perfect for any occasion. It makes my hair look so sleek and nice. It’s not easy to learn to use the air wrap but when you do it’s awesome!!! I think it’s a great Dyson dupe and it has held up well!

So incredibly disappointed. My dryer is ONE year old and the cord is falling apart. I bought the three-year warranty, but evidently it doesn't cover this, which makes ZERO sense. I only use it twice a week and have never removed it from my house. I will never buy another product from them again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

QUICK Hairstyling

I absolutely love this product. I have thick wavy/curly hair that took FOREVER to dry and style with a traditional blow dryer. The shark flex style has cut my time in half. I can diffuse my hair in 30 mins or use the air wrap/oval brush to do curls or a blowout in like 20 minutes. It's truly such a game changer for me.
