Avoid water

Though it says splash proof they must mean minimal water. My speaker had great sound until it was in the rain for a short period. The sound is now poor with terrible base. Good speaker just don’t get it wet at all.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Depuis quelques années j'utilise plusieurs produits Bose et ils fonctionnent à merveille.
Que dire de la sonorité à part d'être excellente
autant dans les graves que les aiguës.
Je recommande vivement les produits Bose.

Excellent device

I have always wanted Boze sound. Now I have what they present as their best remote Bluetooth speaker.
However, I lack the skills to use it to its capacity. I recently performed a couple of vocals using my new Resolve +II with great success. But I’ve had several problems where I couldn’t get the device to connect to my iPhone and I didn’t know where to turn. I may need instruction on activating: Bluetooth…. Boze connect… and iPhone music. By trial and error I get there but it would be very embarrassing in front of an audience.

After owning a soundlink color 2 for a few years I figured it was time to either replace ot or add an additional speaker to the home, this wasn't my first choice as I purchased a Marley get together mini and disliked it's lack of base, and extremely poor sound quality. When I went back they had this on sale and I figured let's give bose another shot. At full price it's absolutely worth the money, on sale you'd be kidding yourself to not take this home. Easy to use, louder, heaver bass, and easier to blend in than the soundlink 2, plenty loud for apartments/ smaller homes and able to link with others via party mode within the bose connect app. Overall this is a wonderful speaker with great bass and mids with wonderful highs aswell, I've played live, and compressed songs, jazz, country, pop "country", metal, djent, rap, even gospel and it makes it sound incredible. The 360 feature of this speaker is a true 360 sound, placed in the middle of a room is it's best location if possible. I have had it on the mantle, in the bedrooms, even outside on the patio and its truly wonderful. If you are an audiophile, but don't have the patience to deal with Sonos this is the one for you! If you're on a budget, while onsale I would recommend over THE MEGABOOM 3, any JBL, or really anything. It's not a sonos, but the minor drop in multi room configurations is worth the investment.
