This small 8 port switch is fast, reliable and has a full featured configuration interface. One of the features no other small switches provides is a per port MAC address list and data statistics.

Was easy to install and work great. Could use a separate port for connection to modem(FVS318) or maybe a separate printer port.

I added this tot he garage to extent the network for more camera and a AP. it works wonderfully with the Nigthhawk 8000 router.

Like all netgear devices i have owned the primary purpose was served 100% out of the box. The additional benefit of remote control is new and therefore required a moderate learning curve to set up, but it works as declared and as expected.
