Poor quality. No problems on the first walk/use of the pad everything was fine. On the second use however, it bagen creaking incredibly loudly and obnoxiously. I am a heavier guy but I'm well within the max weight limit for the pad. It's so annoying I used it a few more times and gave up. I should've known for the price that it wouldnt be good. The fact that the user manual was also terribly translated should've been a clue. I'm pretty average height and I also have to say the pad is way too small to be comfortable. It's kind of an awkward walk you have to do to stay within the walking area and I imagine over time it's probably not good for you to do that.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Only having had it for a month now and using it about 6 times, I am finding it a great addition to my home desk for the purpose of what it is to be used for. It provides me a way to get some exercise while working instead of only sitting while working. It has a great walking surface on it. I am glad it starts at a .6 speed as that is plenty fast for me right now as I get used to walking and working on my laptop. For my use though, the walking pad has some design flaws. The way the wheels roll does not allow for ease of movement from under my desk. The wheels only roll one way. From side to side and not front to back. I need to roll the pad under my desk and the wheels do not allow for that so I am taking the chance of scratching my wood floor. Also, the placement of the electrical plug makes it pretty inconvenient for that same purpose of putting this under my desk. The plug is located at the top front of the walking pad. So, in order to move it, you have to remember to unplug it before moving it or bend the plug and possibly damage it. The placement of the plug, in my case, makes me bend down on my knees under the desk ducking my head to unplug or plug it in. In order to use the “massage” side of the pad, I have to bend under my desk, on my knees, unplug it, pull it out being careful to not scratch my floor as the wheels do not flow that way, flip it over (it is quite heavy), then push it back under my desk. Bend down on my knees ducking under the desk and plug it back in. I have only tried the massage side one time so far and it seems it is going to take some getting used to. It is quite a hard bump. Due to the design, it is not a simple task to do flip it over. I would not buy this again for my purposes. Maybe if I ever get to that point, I can one day either walk or stand for my full day of work, but that is going to take me a while. My set up is that I use a laptop plus 2 monitors so being able to stand, walk and sit during my days is needed at my desk. If I didn’t need 2 monitors to plug into, I could have it set stationary at my desk and then just move to another location if I wanted to sit and just use my laptop but sadly that is not my case. So
