Portability/maneuverability, light weight, high steam pressure

My wife bought this to free us from the cord, which I frequently got tangle when the iron was extended to the end of the ironing board. What a blessing, I thought, until I realized I could not see the water level with the water chamber, which is made of opaque plastic. Very difficult to add water when one cannot see the level of the water in the container to which water is being added. Also, there needs to be some refinement of the parking situation; it is a more than a little awkward getting the bottom/back of the iron into slotted base that is not visible. Other than that, it works well and is easy to use; and, there is no cord to get tangled up. Just so you know, I actually attached a small rock to the cord of our other iron to cause it to go back over the end of the board, if extended to the middle of the board or even to the very end. The dropping rock is what stimulated my wife to look for an alternative:) She tells me there is no other cordless iron on the market today.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Too many issues: The iron has to constantly be placed "into" the stand/holder because it can not stand on its own If I just have to put it down for for a quick pull on the garment/material, I have to fit it back into its holder. If you are ambidextrous like me, I have to keep switching hands to put into holder. Holder gets filled with steam and wets the plastic and the Iron itself. The constant recharging is a pain. Bulky holder has shorter cord so you still have to be close to outlet. Regret buying this version. Save your self a headache and but another version.

This iron steams great on the base and then leaves a pool of brackish water in the base that ruins everything it touches. The non steam does not even get hot enough to remove a wrinkle.
Cordless is nice but only if it works.. Worst iron ever!
