I purchased this pan to replace the nonstick pan I use every week for scrambled eggs. I read and watched the video for the proper way to cook eggs. I have scrambled eggs in it three times. The first time, I followed the directions and the eggs came out perfectly, no egg left sticking in the pan. The second time, feeling smug and impatient, I heated the pan at a lower than recommended temperature and did not allow the eggs to cook long enough before I started pushing my spatula through the mixture (how I used the nonstick pan). I ended up with egg stuck all over the bottom surface of the pan. The third time, I heated the pan as recommended and allowed the eggs to set before I started moving the mixture around to complete the cooking process. The pan had no stuck on egg. Lesson learned. Follow the recommendations for cooking eggs and this will become your favorite pan.
I knocked the pan one star because of the price. I bought the pan because of great reviews and it is made in the USA. I know with care, I will never need to replace this pan and look at this as an investment. I am overall very pleased with my purchase.

Perfect pan for cooking eggs or a side of veggies. I feel much safer to get rid of my non stick cookware. It heats up quickly and is so easy to clean

Bought these to upgrade some other cheaper common brand that failed. These one piece designed all clads should last way longer than 5 years just based on how they are designed. I’m not a pro but once I got used to these frying an egg is faster and easier than the old pans we had as well. Probably because they are more consistent and precise and more even heat as well. Time will tell but I’d say for anyone shopping for a decent set of pans I’d recommend these if your like me and get sick of Chinese junk that you have to toss out…..

My new favorite pan. I have other All Clad pots and wanted a small pan for small cook needs. The only downside is the handle weighs more than the pan so on the burner it tilts towards the handle side and lifts pan off the burner.

Fantastic Work Horse

This is the workhorse of my pots. Over 20 years I must have cooked thousands of one pot meals in this 6 quart saute. That includes stove top and braising things in the oven sure it looks beat after 20 years but still performs exactly the same and I'm sure my kids will get great use of it someday too.
