Best cookware purchase ever

Was always told All Clad is great; did not know how great. I've ordered several more pieces and will be replacing all of my stainless steel cookware for All Clad. Perfect heat distribution, goes from stove top to oven, browns evenly, lid holds moisture in food and non stick stainless! Strong, well made and very nice to look at.

Have used this cookware at my daughter’s and was surprised at how well it heated, held the heat and cooked more evenly than my old Revere ware. Although my old revere was made in the USA the newer pieces are not and the quality is poor and I refuse to replace with other than USA made. I preferred the older Allclad that is 3-ply simply because it is lighter in weight and much easier for me to handle especially with food in it. The 3-ply was still available and after this latest purchase I will be replacing my old pans with Allclad 3-ply. I do wish your accessories were not made in China. Because of that I will purchase very few accessories.

Cooks well, Questionable quality
on December 13, 2018

I've used cheaper stainless steel cookware before and have genreally been impressed, so I figured it was worth it to get a high end cookware set for something tough and durable with better performance. The pros are that it does cook very well and can maintain its shine with proper cleaning, but when it comes time to clean is where I see the flaws. First off, I have found these are not really non stick, I made eggs a few times and they stick to the pan just as if I used a regular steel pan. Despite following the instructions of using plastic utensils, I still see scratches from cooking. My overall opinion of these is that they will get the job done, but they appear to lack the durability needed to last a lifetime, and the high price point may not be justified. I've only used these for about a month, but we'll see what happens moving forward.

Rainbows after first use?
on December 13, 2018

The first All-Clad pot was replaced after it was used to boil water and pitted at the bottom. This new pot has just seen its first use making a pot of soup. The bottom looks like a rainbow! I can't think this is OK and it certainly didn't happen with my less expensive (or more expensive) pots. The weight and design are fine, but I question the materials.
