Excellent... with some reservation

I'm extremely happy with the quality of this saucepan. It evenly distributes heat making it easy to be a better cook. That can be said of every piece of All-Clad cookware that I own. The reservations that I have are the 1 qt and 2 qt saucepans are identical in every dimension except the 2 qt is taller. Had I realized this, I wouldn't have spent the money on the 1 qt. The only other complaint is that with the straight walls of the pan, there isn't any flare at the top, thus when you pour anything out of the pan, it runs down the side, making a bit of a mess, and wasting a bit of what you're cooking. Both complaints are rather minor, and I feel that my purchase will bring satisfaction for many years to come.

This sauté pan is ideal for a large number of recipes. The high straight sides allow sauté’ing evenly. The pan is very well made and designed.

Wanted to love this - but it scratches SO Easily and doesn't wash well

I love AllClad - and have used for years. But this pot has scratched completely from barely stirring a metal spoon. I can't get it to clean completely at all - I have tried the vinegar and baking soda and bartenders friend. Really disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Had read reviews and until now, have bought commercial-grade pans that have lasted 2-3 years. I cook 1-2 meals/day and after about a month, Can truthfully say I LOVE this All Clad Sauce Pan - best I've even owned.

I really like this small saucepan. It heats evenly and cleans up easily. I only wish that I could nest it inside my 2 qt saucepan but it’s the same size diameter, so I can’t. But it’s still a great little saucepan!

My husband gifted me this cookware. I absolutely love it, I'm having to re-learn how to cook and having a blast while I'm at it. Cleaning is a little tricky, however we are managing quite nicely. Anyone considering a purchase of all clad you will be so glad if you do it now. Don't wait or purchase a cheaper set go ahead and get the good one now. Wish I had bought my set many many years ago.

I love All-clad

I am slowly replacing my Calphalon pots and pans with All-Clad, one at a time. I prefer cooking in a stainless pot rather than hard anodized or nonstick. I like that I don’t need a pot holder to lift the pot using the handle. I like the way foods cook and especially like that the pans are easily cleaned. Although I prefer to clean them by hand, I like that they can be put in the dishwasher.
