I feel as though the quality is not what expected. I am an avid cook and wanted to replace my 20+ year old calphalon that I loved. I am well aware of how to use stainless steel. These pans have stained after just one use, discolored and had food stick. Again, I know how to use stainless as I have cooked with it for over 20 years and have never had these problems with my Calphalon.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This set is phenomenal for the price. Quality is top notch, and it shows in the cook results. Preheating pans is key, and you don't need to go past medium heat to get a great sear on any protein and have had no issues with sticking (with cooking oil). Cleaning has been relatively easy but when needed using Bar Keepers Friend will get these looking brand new again in no time. Only mistake was when I ordered I thought I read that the set included a 10- and 12-inch fry pan but it was actually an 8- and 10- inch. I will definitely be ordering the 12-inch fry pan to add to my set. 10 out of 10 would recommend this set if you're trying to take your cooking to the next level.

These are the essential pieces sized perfectly for a family of 4-6. You can build upon this set moving forward, as per your specific needs. The quality of D3 is excellent, and has a lifetime guarantee. I’ve had mine in daily use for over 23 years and I recommend it highly. This cookware will last you a lifetime, you’ll pass it down for sure.
