The 10" version of the pan performs as well as my 12" version. Heats up quickly and is mostly non-stick. Love the even temperature and the lightness of the pan. Much better than the graphite pan I recently bought from All Clad, which underperforms in all categories except weight.

4 qt saute pan was an excellent addition to my all-clad collection. It has approx 10 inches of contact area with gas burner. Plenty of room to build a sauce that starts with sautéing a large amount of vegetables.

Did a lot of research and watched many reviews online regarding the best cookware brand and the industry experts consistently recommended All-clad. So we listened.
Adjusting our cooking style to stainless was a learning experience but the results are much tastier than that of their nonstick predecessors.
Highly recommend if you’re on the edge.
I do wish this set included a 12” frying pan. I purchased that separately.

We recently moved to a new home that does not have gas for cooking. I had built up a solid collection of cast iron and had to find something similar to cook on with our Wolf induction top. I choose the D3 after watching many reviews including the America's Test Kitchen and am glad I did! They are the best pans I've used yet. Cook well, non stick if done properly and beautiful!

I have always coveted this pan and finally was fed up with my old pan enough to make the purchase. Overall really great quality pan. I would suggest this as someone’s first or only AllClad purchase. I do wish the cooking surface wasn’t so easy to get dingy. I also wish the lid handle was heat proof like the rest of the pan. Generally lives up to the name!
