Good but human machine interface needs improvement

The unit works well enough, but there are certain oddities in the panel that detract for an otherwise good design. Where are the one-touch buttons for entering common cook times and starting the microwave? Why do I have to push the Stop/Cancel after a program completes to enter another one? Counter-intuitive.

Nice product, not designed for a location where there is no direct light on the front as the numbers on the front as dark and not back lit. The unit works fine, has an interior light to see product and when the door is opened so can see to clean.

No back light for numeric pad. Difficult to press numbers because one can’t see the numbers. Child lock is a NIGHTMARE! No way to cancel this feature when one does not children in the home.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The unit works very well. Cooks evenly. The biggest negative issue is the control panel. The buttons are hard to read. They are dim and small on a dark background. The whole panel is dark and needs a back light of some kind.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this microwave a few years ago, and have used it countless times since. I opted for a high-power unit, and it has definitely exceeded my expectations. I am a believer in the Panasonic brand name from my experience through the decades, and I now have some Panasonic sound equipment on the way to replace another company's inadequate unit. Please consider expanding your variety of products. I will be first in line to buy another Panasonic.
