Purchased this pressure washer in November and used it for the first time in December 2024. I had an old SunJoe 3000 that latest for several years before some features stopped working like the soap dispenser and it became unreliable at washing at random times. This Westinghouse unit works much better, is more quite, and more powerful. I also purchased the 15 inch surface cleaner and if you need to wash large surfaces like a driveway, this is a must. Using just the high pressure turbo nozzle will take hours. This surface cleaner will do 15 inches in one swipe saving a huge amount of time. The WPX3400e keeps the pressure charged and I like how the motor stops when water is at max pressure and the gun is currently not in use. The 25 ft washer hose is stored on the back of the unit between two hooks. I would prefer a wind up spool so the hose can be unspooled straight ready for use and you don't have to rotate the hose to get all the loops out but the hose is only 25ft so it's not too bad. This unit seems lighter and easier to move around than my old sunjoe. I look forward to some summer cleaning projects but for now it will have to sit in the garage for the winter.
I've used more than a few brand electric power washers and this is my first for the WPX3400e. I was thrilled to see how well constructed the unit was. The assembly hardware was heavy duty as was the wheels and frame of the unit. Considering the construction materials the unit was not as heavy as it appeared and the size of the wheels allowed it to be easily maneuverable. Assembly was very easy and the instructions made it even more so. I bought this model because I wanted something with a higher PSI and GPM than most of the less costly models could provide. The only caveat I have is that I haven't tested the performance yet in spite of my high expectations. I'll do a followup review once I've put the machine through a good workout. So far the higher cost appears to be more than well worth it.
