Easy to use, light weight.

I bought this to loosen the clay soil in our back yard. We live on a hill and I wanted to level a small area for a garden. I am not a big person and I wanted to find something that would loosen the clay without having to use a pick ax, as I get tired quickly when digging up clay with a pick ax. It worked much better then I thought it would. Using an ax would have been quicker, but this tiller easily broke up the top layer of soil digging up the plant roots. I then worked my way down through the clay while moving the loosened dirt out of the way. I will definitely be using it for other projects in my yard.

I purchased my Westinghouse 18-in Tiller/Cultivator a in April of this year. It was easy to assemble, and the instructions were easy to follow. I have used it on several occasions in my wife's gardens, which are quite large, without difficulty. It has a lot of power and it's easy to use. I am totally satisfied with this product, and I highly recommend it for all age groups

Just used for the first time. It likes to hop/jump around a bit. But for the price, it seems to be a good machine.

Seems like it will be a good tiller. Have only used for a very short test run, that is the reason for only 4 star. I was impressed with its ability to till up hard dry clay soil. It did bounce though. Was easy to assemble.
