Looks nice - Instructions could be clearer

I have not used it yet. I am putting it together but could use some clarity on instructions. Am I supposed to bend this pin before taking it out? In what order should I put it back in? Does the washer go back on before or after the pin? Once I get it together, it looks like it will work great!

Have only used this once so far, in a small area. Tiller was easy to assemble and powerful enough to turn my clay soil.
