Strong and Simple

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The T-Rex Extreme Mounting Tape double-sided strips are thick, super sticky, and held my wall art frame securely without any slipping. I love that they’re pre-cut, which made mounting the frame quick and hassle-free. They work perfectly indoors, keeping the frame in place without worrying about it falling or shifting. Definitely a great choice for displaying wall art!

Amazing mounting tape by T-REX!

They have a great temperature range and have held up great over the past 24hrs! Great mounting tape with amazing adhesion!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this extreme mounting tape to hold up three picture frames that I have been meaning to hang for a bit now. I am surprised it was super easy to use. I now don’t need my husband to hang up everything for me. I can do this easily by myself.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tape is easy to use. It's very strong, once applied i could not move the item anymore. The white side is easy to remove, but the clear side is a little hard because you can't see it.

We cut them into pieces to hand smaller items or use the entire strip for heavier items closer to the 24 lbs* weight limit.

We are super impressed by these strips as we use ALOT of double sided tapes and 3M tape. But T-REX Sxtreme Mounting Tape 🦖 really works well!!! A++

T-Rex mounting tape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The T-Rex mounting tape comes in 8 1 in strips that are double sided sticky. I decided to use these to hang a little bin inside my van that constantly falls due to the heat softening the other glue on the magnet. I have had the T-Rex tape in place for several weeks now and it is still holding up. The particular one I tried was up to 24 lb. It was sticky but I am not for sure if it feels sticky enough to hold a 24 lb object without using more than one. I would though purchases again.

No more nails

Holds like a beast (but prep and surface matter).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Holds like a beast if you prep right and use the right surface. I used T-Rex Extreme Mounting Tape for a few things I didn’t want to drill, an entryway key rack and outdoor solar lights.
For the key rack I cleaned the surface with rubbing alcohol, pressed hard for a minute, and let it sit overnight. It’s rock solid. I also used it outside to mount an external solar light because I didn’t want holes in the textured wood siding. Similar routine—I wiped the siding with a damp washcloth and let it dry, stuck the tape on the solar light and then to the wall, and wait. It’s been through sun and morning marine layer dampness without budging for two weeks.
I tried a larger solar light, too. The tape grabbed the wood siding perfectly, but the solar unit’s back mounting plate (which the back of the light would slide on to) didn’t have much surface area, as it was clearly designed to be screwed in with a horizontal channel for the light to slide into. The bond failed on the light’s side, not the wall. I attribute that to user error by using something with not enough surface area. The good news: when I peeled off the T-Rex tape from the painted wood siding, it came away easily, did not damage the paint, and left no residue.
What I’ve learned:
• Prep matters: smooth, clean, dry surfaces = best grip.
• Give it time to cure (overnight is ideal).
• Great for light-to-medium stuff; I wouldn’t risk a heavy mirror.

Bottom line: cleaner than drilling and way stronger than cheap foam tape. I’d buy it again. 4.5/5
