Not perfect, but gets the job done

Works very well on carpets. A bit awkward to get used to compared to upright stick vacuum The Powermate has a tendency to fall backwards when connected to the canister. The brush accessory's bristles were also very bent on arrival, perhaps they need to be broken in.

I totally love the suction on this vacuum. Nice carpet attachment. The bare floor attachment is a little small and could use more brushes on it. The big wheels on the back would be better if they could swivel some.

I bought one when Kmart was going out of business...I loved that vacuum cleaner. So I bought another one. Easy vacuuming... to get up underneath furniture. I loved it!!

It's so quite!

My husband and I have a 2 year old, who gets very cranky if you wake her up from her nap. Unfortunately, the only time we can clean our place is when she's down for her nap. When we turned the vaccum on, we were so surprised how quite the Kenmore canister vacuum really is! Not one peep from our daugher. We where able to vaccum our entire place with ease. Thank you Kenmore, you have made our lives a breeze.
