Fantastic Gaming Computer for a Beginner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second Lenovo product, my first being a Yoga. I was looking for a computer that could handle the gaming I've started doing, and this is perfect. IT guy at work recommended Lenovo right away (we're all switching to work-issue Lenovo laptops at work in the fall too). Price is right, super easy to setup and get started, handles the high performance needs so well. I'm thrilled with this purchase and expect to be using it for many years to come, especially since my Yoga has lasted a very long time and shows no sign of quitting!

The best Laptop I've purchased in a long time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This laptop was exactly what i wanted. When i purchased it i wasn't 100% convinced, since i haven't purchased a computer in a while, i was a little bit out of the loop on newer hardware. But this Laptop for me checked all the boxes. Great keyboard to type on, high-quality OLED display. Good performance. It's been fantastic. I have a small handful of complaints. Most are a bit nitpicky. I think the biggest issue with this laptop is the battery life. I'm only getting around 2 and a half hours just web browsing, but i did select the model with the 255HX CPU in it, which i knew was a power-hungry chip. Other models of this laptop with other chipsets may have better battery life, but i can only speak on the 255HX. The other complaint i have, is with the included Lenovo software. (Lenovo Space, Vantage, Now, Etc). The software just isn't as well refined as it could be, and you have multiple different applications for managing the laptop. The non-official Lenovo Toolkit that you can download from GitHub actually combines all of these functions into a single App. Why Lenovo has not done this with their official software tools, i have no idea. It seems to be like they probably should. If i had to buy this machine all over again, there is one change i would make. I purchased the model with only 16gb of ram. That was a mistake. Windows 11 is a ram hungry monster. Do yourself a favor, opt for the 32gb model. You'll be happy you did. Other than that, this machine has been great. I would give it five stars as this has been an excellent Laptop. I really do love this machine. But i just can't give it the full five stars due to the poor battery life and bifurcated Lenovo software. Apart from those two things, i really have no complaints.

Running Great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this laptop for a couple months now. I did upgrade the RAM to 64G and added some additional HD space, but it's been a beast with handling all my excessive number of tabs, excel sheets, huge construction set PDF files and 3D modeling software all running at once. My only gripe is that the screen is very reflective, which can be difficult in some lighting. However it is a beautiful display.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Me gustó el material de construcción pero la batería de la laptop es muy mala. Cosas que me encantaron: pantalla porque tienen muchos fps, teclado porque es rgb y su potencia.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this product. It can run all the games I have downloaded and it’s lightweight plus durable. (It can survive most of my bird attacks) only problem is the warranty. One of my key caps broke and the only way for the warranty to fix it is if I sent my whole computer to replace ONE key. So great product, but they need to work on their warranty.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The machine is quite sturdily built, overall performance is very decent, with modern games. It does have an occasional wifi, issue, I have been able to fix it by restarting the machine, but it certainly is very unwarranted for something so new

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this laptop because multiple people had recommended upgrading my old HP laptop to a Legion for better gaming. I would not say I am overly impressed by its gaming capabilities over my older laptop from 2020. While there is technically more storage, so much of it is taken up by a million Legion and lenovo apps, all seemingly important and uninstallable. I had many issues trying to play my games, most of which are older (think Sims 3, Skyrim, etc), and had to spend hours troubleshooting. This is not something I have ever had to do for my games on any laptop I have ever owned. I experience at least one crash while playing. This is not even mentioning that the first Legion laptop I bought was a complete lemon and had to be returned immediately. I do not think I would buy a Legion laptop over again, as the prices are insane for what are not great laptops.

Battery issues

The battery at performance level, while not doing any performance intensive tasks, lasts only 45-55 minutes, which is very low.
