Got the trackpoint, the full keyboard, nice, bright screen, just wish they had larger screen sizes (where are the 17"ers!?) and I'm seriously disheartened that all Lenovos don't come with a keyboard light anymore. I was under the impression that every Lenovo came with a keyboard light or backlit keyboard. My bad for not looking for that minor detail, but after years of buying Thinkpads which all had keyboard lights, getting one without a keyboard light was like getting one without a J key. It was just an integral part of the line and now it's gone! :( The option is there for backlit (which I know now) but I didn't realize it wasn't built in to all of them.
That said, the laptop is fast and furious. It does the job well and has the flawless trackpoint for mouse accuracy. Get the SSD and you'll be in heaven as Windows 11 boots up faster than anything in my house right now.
I do wish the screens were bigger. And I prefer more square screens and less rectangular (landscape) because it's a work laptop and I do more vertical work. Don't care about watching movies in 16:9.
Happy with my purchase overall. Just wish there was a better solution for a keyboard light instead of using my USB port. This really is almost 5 stars.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far everything is going well but it has only been a week of actual use. Set up was easy. I was surprised to find Windows 11 installed, thought it was supposed to be 10.
I do enjoy the quick startup and the key board is very responsive. I am switching from a 6 year old Lenovo Edge 2 that has been great.
Excited to learn what I can do with my new ThinkPad! Need to download the manual.
