[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A well built chassis, upgradable storage, and thunderbolt make this a solid purchase. The only downside is the 1 dimm slot for memory expansion, but that's 1 more dimm slot than a lot of the competition.
The current E series offerings are more in line with the T series of a decade ago than the early budget E series.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Features, horrible quality

My employer spec'd out one of these machines for me, and has done so for coworkers. Mine started having problems in 3 weeks and motherboard failed completely in 24 days. No longer charges... My coworkers? Similar issues. corrupt BIOS, failing to charge, numerous bad sectors on the harddrive. The quality control is an abomination.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fingerprint scanner and touch screen are nice features. The specs are excellent for the price. Graphics are processor can handle all the necessities without draining your battery. Great travel laptop with sturdy design and lightweight.

Damaged upon receipt

When I had received the Laptop,I experimented my first hardware issue of backlight bleeding as I turned on the laptop for the first time. I reached out to Lenovo who sent me a box the next day. I am awaiting the return and outcome.
The laptop was secure in shipment in air bag.
I do graphic work and the bleeding will help on production.
I am hoping that they do q/a before deployment.

A step below the workhorse business version but still runs very quickly for browsing and other simple tasks, and nothing about the build feels cheap. Hinge feels sturdy, and it has a good display; 15" makes a difference in how large the screen feels compared to 14".
