A grill for all seasons

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This grill is a great appliance to use for anyone on a low fat diet. It heat up quickly and kept a consistent temperature during the whole time. There were two things that I think needed improvement. The cord needs to be longer so it doesn't require an extension cord to use. The other is the grease catcher needs to be stabilized better since it is very loose and may slide out of brackets easily. I made four good sized hamburgers and followed recommended time in owner's manual. They cooked all the way through but for those who may want medium well you may want to cut your cooking time. Also I would mix my seasonings in with the meat prior to shaping patties since the side that has the seasoning tends to brown quiet a bit. All in all I will use it again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I consider myself a grilling expert, yes an expert, but my expertise has always been outside, until now. I have never used an indoor grill ever so I was a little intimidated to try it. I'm so glad that I did. First of all, the instruction manual helped curb those with easy to follow instructions as well as recipes. On the box it has a picture of 6 burgers, but i wanted to be experimental and try something that I was always afraid of doing on an outdoor grill, so I chose a nice salmon filet. The Hamilton Beach 6-serving indoor grill grilled the salmon to perfection. It made the skin side nice and crispy and the flesh side has gorgeous grill marks. After I tried the experimental piece, I really wanted to share this with my family, so I invited my mother and sisters over and made more salmon and tried frozen turkey burgers. They enjoyed it even more than I did. I am so glad that I gave this a try especially with the cold weather of winter right around the corner. Any person that loves grilling or grill food should not be with out this!!! I look forward to seeing what I can perfect next on the Hamilton Beach Indoor grill.

Quick fix to your grilling cravings anytime. With two cooking plates that fold over to cook two sides at once you are saving time and getting meals, snacks or party servings done fast. Anything you cook on an outdoor grill can also be cooked on an indoor grill. This includes meat, fish, poultry, vegetables, and sandwiches or a top-notch grilled cheese.
This hinge-based heated grill plates and folding action allows you to will be the great home chef with the easy single temperature char ability on your food
With no removable plates clean-up is a snap.
The large 90 square inch nonstick cooking surface heats up fast and accommodates big servings in fewer than 8 to 10 minutes. Drips are drained away from the food as it cooks, with the convenient slide out drip tray no mess is made and is dishwasher safe. The large handle offers a secure grip while cooking, and the floating hinges adjust to the thickness of food. When finished, the nonstick grill plates easily wipe clean. And ready for next grilling needs a bit of oil but not from an aerosol can, apply by hand on cold heating plates. No sharp objects need to more and or remove food, use only heat treated plastic tools, tongs, and spatulas.
Cons:
Short power cord does not have on off switch you have to plug in and out of outlet. Power / Ready light on top of closed unit shows when ready and goes on and off as temperatures change. Inconstant heating over heating plates causes under cooking in places.

Just the right size!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For me, this Hamilton Beach Indoor Grill is just the right size for grilling up healthy meals right on my kitchen countertop. Chicken, pork chops, even grilled cheese sandwiches and vegetables are so easy. Five to ten minutes and dinner is done!
I like to add a touch of avacado or olive oil to the grilling plates before cooking for the healthy fats they contain. Also makes cleanup with damp paper towels easier. My favorite part of the clever design is the drip pan. It collects all of the unhealthy fats I don’t need.
I was given this product through the Hamilton Beach Ambassador program, but with the retail price so attractive, I can make this item a “go-to” during gift-giving season.

No muss No fuss!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received out indoor grill about a month ago and love it. Easy to use, easy to clean and can be stored in a kitchen cabinet. We love to grill but don't really like going in and out to the deck when the weather is bad. This grill does the trick!
