I have had the OG Tapido or years and I love it. It is powerful and gets hot so it helps me blow dry quickly when I’m seeing back to back clients. When I saw they “updated” the blow dryer I was so excited to try the new and improved version.
First thoughts were that it BLOWS. Like literally, it blows so much air it’s crazy so I thought it would be great. But after a few clients I realized that it does not get nearly as hot as the old rapido and my clients hair was hard to get smooth and shiny without the heat.
I think this is a great blowdrier for the price, would be great for someone whom speed is not an issue, but in a salon setting it slowed me down so I switched back to my OG Rapido.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
