Acceptable replacement for 6-year old HP laptop

I needed a replacement for my 6-year old HP laptop and wanted something with Windows 11 so selected this model. Overall it is working well and transitioning from my old laptop to this one has been relatively easy. Things I don't like: the inability to have an onboard optical drive, that there are only two USB ports and where they are located, and the absence of an SD card reader (seriously?).
I would recommend this to a friend!
